Dr. Gabriele Walb

After finishing her studies at the University in Giessen, Germany, Dr. Walb spent her first years in practice in the UK. Two years of mixed practice in Northern Ireland and Scotland were followed by another three years working for a small animal hospital in Wolverhampton in England. It was during this time Dr. Walb developed her special interest in surgery and orthopaedics.
In 2004, Dr. Walb returned back to her home village of Naurod and opened up the small animal practice, Am Ruhwehr 4.
Continuous professional development ensures continuous improvement of the service. The musculoskeletal system is one of the main interests of Dr. Walb.

Spock has been a member of our team since August 2008. As a consequence of a neurological disorder our little dog is not able to walk properly on her own. Still she is all day long, without any exception, in high spirits and full of the joy of life. We only hear the occasional complaint from her when she has to work too much overtime.
